Melissa Cheung

Therapy Centres Team Lead

A woman with long black hair, glasses, and a black outfit, smiling against a white background.

I am a Counselling Psychologist who is committed to offering a warm and non–judgemental space where we can work collaboratively towards your goals.

I draw on evidence–based interventions: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Compassion Focused Therapy.

I have experience working with anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, grief and loss, emotional difficulties, self–esteem and perfectionism, body–focused repetitive behaviours, and I have a specialist interest in working with eating disorders.

Outside of work, I enjoy watching psychological thrillers and crime shows, eating tasty food, and playing with my neighbour's cat.
