Sandra Davies

Mental Health Clinician | Registered – Mental Health Nurse

A woman with dark hair and a light skin tone, wearing a black top and blazer, smiling slightly against a plain white background.

My name is Sandra. I have been working in mental health services for nearly 36 years, initially in the UK and for the past 8 years here in New Zealand. I am passionate about guiding and supporting people to navigate through their mental health journey and to help them to improve their overall health and wellbeing. I have a nursing background, so I can assist with any concerns about physical health issues and medications. I am also a therapist with knowledge and experience in different types of therapeutic interventions, which includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness. I can offer sessions in person or via our virtual options, for example phone or video link. I also facilitate webinars which focus on managing anxiety, and mood and wellbeing.

Outside of my work I enjoy spending time with my 3 children and my 2 dogs. I am currently learning Welsh as I am keen to further connect with my Welsh heritage.

Languages spoken: English.
